President Bola Tinubu has met with Pope Leo XIV, at the vatican, where he reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to fostering cooperation across all beliefs, races and continents.
This was contained in a statement by the President following the official inauguration ceremony of the pontiff, which held at the vatican on Sunday.
Tinubu lauded the new pontiff’s humility, history with Nigeria and message of peace, describing them as the hallmark of the kind of leadership needed across the world.
