Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has asked voters in Osun to consider the future of their children in deciding who they vote for during Saturday’s governorship poll in the state.
This was just as the APC presidential candidate said those who call themselves members of Labour Party will labour for life.
Tinubu, while addressing crowd of supporters at the Osogbo Township Stadium on Tuesday, said the future of the children of Osun voters is more paramount adding that the APC has proved to be the party of the people.
“Think of your children, students, think of them. Vote for the APC so you can secure their future. Show that you are happy that I will be next President. PDP and those other mushroom parties. Some call themselves Labour Party. They will be labourers for life.”
Chairman of the Campaign Council, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, while addressing the crowd at the Osogbo Township Stadium, asked the people to go out on Saturday and ensure return of Oyetola.
The Lagos State Governor said his job as campaign council chairman had been made easy for the council because of what he called the good performance of Oyetola in his first term.
Chairman of the APC Governor’s Forum, Atiku Bagudu, while addressing the party supporters, said, “We did it four years ago. APC was elected. That time, he was elected based on what he could do. Now he is going to be elected based on what he has done.”
“This administration has set the foundation for national development.
“Come out with your PVCs and vote massively for the APC. Let me see your brooms if you are determined to vote for the APC.”
Governor Oyetola, while speaking, reeled out his achievements in the areas of health, infrastructure.
He said his administration suffered some setbacks as a result of COVID-19, and the protests against police brutality.
