Former Governor of Lagos State Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shunned the invitation extended to him to attend a dinner along with other political leaders in the country.
While the dinner was slated to hold Tuesday night at the presidential villa, Tinubu was believed to have jetted out of the country late Monday night hours before the appointment for the Tuesday dinner.
Others invited along with Tinubu were former Interim National chairman of the Progressive Congress Chief Bisi Akande; former chairmen of the party, Chief John Oyegun, Adams Oshiomhole and a host of others.
Tinubu has been sighted in Saudi Arabia amidst other pilgrims for lesser Hajj.
In one of the clips, he was seen with former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Nuhu Ribadu.
NPO Reports however could not confirm if Tinubu formally reached out to the presidency of his absence at the dinner with the President.
