Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said that his reign as President will end all forms of insecurity across the country.
Tinubu met with Bishops and Pastors in Abuja on Thursday where he pledged to ensure that his government promote religious harmony.
Defending his Muslim-Muslim ticket, Tinubu said Tinubu said religion should not be a factor in the election of President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor.
He added that only competence can resolve the political and socio-economic challenges bedevilling the nation.
If elected, he promised, his reign as president would end the current security challenges.
“How will Nigeria develop? How do we barnish hunger? How do we improve the insecurity and how do we eliminate killing one another, shedding of blood of innocent citizens, that is what we must take to the office and not our religion.
“My intention is clear, not religiosity. My intention is to develop this country, to bring prosperity to our country and I have better qualification, better track records, better exposure, better vision than any of my mates,” he said.
