One of the abducted teachers at Community High School in Ahoro-Esinele, Oyo state, has been brutally beheaded by the bandits.
NPO Reported that the bandits had on Friday stormed the school, killing a teacher and a motorcyclist before abducting scores of students and staff.
Also abducted by the assailants was the principal of the school, Mrs. Rachel Alamu, who had in a video released yesterday called for the intervention of the Federal Government and the state Governor, Seyi Makinde.
While the Oyo state government had assured members of the public of intensified effort in securing the rescue of the kidnapped people, the killing of the teacher identified as Oyedokun Micheal had raised fresh concern.
The tragic development captured in a disturbing video shared on X on Monday showed moment Oyedokun, a Mathematics teacher, was slaughtered by his abductors.
Oyedokun was only allowed to introduce himself in the video before being gruesomely murdered by the assailants.
The disturbing video has sparked outrage from netizens who condemned the murder while calling out the government.
