At least two people have been confirmed dead in a fatal accident in Lagos.
This was disclosed in a post shared on X on Friday by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).
According to the post, the accident involving an empty flatbed truck, occurred at Agboju Bus Stop inward Mile 2.
While the incident have no impact on traffic flow, LASTMA confirmed that two casualties were involved.
“Two casualties were recorded. They were promptly attended to and evacuated to a hospital by Police officers for further medical attention.
“Our officers are on ground managing the situation while awaiting a tow truck for the evacuation of the affected vehicle.” The authority said.
However, the cause of the accident is yet to be disclosed.
