A United Kingdom-based Nigerian student, Anderson Ishiekwene, has reportedly bagged three years jail term after being convicted of making sexual advances to a minor.
Anderson was convicted by the Newcastle Crown Court were he was arraigned after his arrest.
The 25-year-old Nigerian international student was arrested by the police after being caught in an online string operation attempting to a sexual meeting with a 14-year-old girl.
Video capturing moment of his arrest showed Anderson attempting to resist being handcuffed by the police who pinned him to the ground.
While details of his conviction were not fully disclosed, the 25-year-old Nigerian is considered to face automatic deportation at the completion of his jail term
