The Senior Special Assistance who also doubled as the hype man of Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has come under fire over his threat to arrest the African Democratic Congress (ADC) members and hand them over to the state’ police command.
The hype man had in viral video shared on X issued the threat while addressing the state’s Commissioner of Police, Monday Agbonika, at a public event.
While hailing Agbonika for bearing same first name Okpebholo, the governor’s aide vowed to catch ADC supporters in the state, including the 2023 Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, anytime he comes to Edo.
“CP Monday, the name of the governor is Monday and your name is Monday, that is why you people are working. CP, we are loyal to you.
“When we catch ADC people, we will hand them over to you people like Obi idiot.” He said.
The clip had since sparked reactions from netizens with some slamming the hype man and demanding his arrest over the threat while others made light of the threat.
