The father of Nigerian-British content creator, Pelumi Nubi, has disclosed that her recently concluded solo London-Lagos trip which seemed like content creation was indeed a nightmare for parents.
In an interview session at the welcoming party of Pelumi on Sunday, he stated that the two months was fun to the whole world but more of sleepless nights for him and her mother.
According to him, the thought of what comes with the following day was always on the verge of their minds particularly while going through the desert.
“It’s been two months of anxiety, everyday is a though of what will happen the following day especially going through the desert.
He further stated that the real challenge began for Nubi in the West African borders but in all he gave thanks to God for the successful completion of her journey.
“We thought that going through West African borders will be fun after Gambia, we found out that’s where the challenges really started but we thank God all is ending in praises.”
Pelumi was received from her two months solo trip at the Nigeria-Benin Republic border on behalf of the Lagos State Government by the Hon Commissioner of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs Toke Benson-Awoyinka and the Special Adviser, Tourism, Arts and Culture, Idris Aregbe.
