Wife, Children Also Kidnapped, Ransom Paid Multiple Times

A Director at the Zamfara State College of Education, Bashar Sani, has been killed after being held in captivity for 42 days by kidnappers.
Beyond his death, Bashar’s ordeal had drawn sympathy from netizens as he was reported to was suffered three different kidnapping incidents and paid ransom multiple times.
As disclosed in a post shared on Saturday by X user, @iambabangida_, the late academic staff previously had his two wives and junior kidnapped on different occasions with the late academic staff paying a total of N13.5 million for their release.
This reportedly prompted him to relocate with his family.
Unfortunately, they were all kidnapped by bandits again with him and his children inclusive this time.
“The story of Malam Bashar Sani is the reality of Northern Nigeria today.
“He was a Director at the College of Education, Maru, in Zamfara State.
“Years ago, bandits kidnapped his 2 wives!!! He paid N10 million to free them.
“Months later, they came for his junior brother, Hassan.
“He paid another N3.5 million! Terrified, he relocated his family to a crowded area, hoping for safety.
“For a year and a half, they had peace. Then the bandits found them again. They kidnapped him, the same wife taken years before, and his daughter!” The X user wrote.
The bandits were reported to have demanded N20 million ransom for the release of the family.
Unfortunately, Bashar only managed to raise N7 million out of the demanded ransom.
While his daughter and wife were released after the payment, the Zamfara College of Education staff was tragically killed by the bandits.
