A new ultra-modern central motor park is coming to Gusau, the Zamfara state capital.
Gov. Dauda Lawal of the state who approved N4.8 billion for the construction of the ultra-modern central motor park in Gusau, the state capital as part of his ongoing urban renewal projects in the state.
The governor who gave the approval on Wednesday at the Executive Council Meeting held in Gusau said the construction of the park was a crucial component of the state’s Urban Renewal Program and would significantly enhance the state’s transport infrastructure and service delivery.
The contract was awarded to Fieldmark Construction Ltd.
“The project is to be jointly funded by the Ministry for Local Government and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Tourism, while the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure will supervise the execution of the project.
“The Ministry of Works has already designed and developed an in-house bill for the project and submitted it to the State Bureau of Public Procurement.
“The projects to include the following components such as the construction of offices, fire station, guest lodges, clinic, the police station, creation of a warehouse, installation of a POS centre, and establishment of a mechanical centre and the car wash among others,” Lawal explained
