•Pledges Commitment to Fix Deplorable Roads
The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, is set to commission the Ojodu-Denro-Ishasi-Akute Road in Ifo local government area of the State.
He made the announcement in an X post on Friday.
NPO reports that prior to the reconstruction, the road has been in an extremely poor state plagued with potholes, erosion, and flooding during the rainy season which made the route difficult to ply for motorists and pedestrians.
The Governor also shared a video showing the state of the road at the time he assumed office and the transformation under his government.
“As we prepare to commission the Ojodu Abiodun-Denro-Ishasi-Akute Road in Ifo Local Government Area, a road that had been neglected for decades, we are pleased to share an audiovisual showcasing the state of the road when we met it and the remarkable transformation it has undergone through our successful reconstruction efforts.”
He further pledged commitment to fix as many deplorable roads as possible across the State.
“We remain committed to fulfilling our promise to address as many deplorable roads as possible across Ogun State, all for the benefit of our people.” He wrote.
