The former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has reportedly arrived at the Abuja headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday afternoon.
NPO Reports learnt that Bello drove himself into the premises of the commission.
This is following a Supreme Court ruling that upheld the constitutionality of the EFCC, dismissing challenges brought by some states against the anti-graft agency.
Recall that Bello had months ago surrendered himself at the commission’s office to clear his names from the crimes linked to him.
During a prior hearing on November 14, the EFCC requested an adjournment until November 27, citing the need to allow the 30-day notice period for the summons to lapse.
