Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has on Tuesday evening paid courtesy visit to President Bola Tinubu alongside his elder brother, Deji Adeleke.
The duo were accompanied by Nigerian afrobeat musician, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.
NPO Reported that Davido had last week paid similar visit to the President at the Aso Villa, Abuja.
As diclosed in a post shared on Adeleke’s official X handle, the singer would again accompany the Osun state governor and his father to visit the President at his Lagos residence ahead of Sallah celebration.
“This evening, alongside the scion of the Adeleke dynasty, my big brother, Dr. Deji Adeleke and my nephew, whom we are immensely proud of, David Adeleke, popularly known as @davido we paid a courtesy visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his Lagos residence ahead of the Sallah celebration” the Osun governor posted on his X handle.
However, the Adelekes latest visit to the President has raised eyebrow with further controversies on the Osun governor’s future amid the ongoing crisis between the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
While some hinted possible defection of Adeleke from the PDP to the APC ahead of the 2026 governorship election, others speculated likelihood of Davido contesting for political position.
