The absence of Nigeria’s Super Eagles on the pitch of the 2026 FIFA World Cup has been filled with sounds and performances by Nigerian music artistes.
While the world witnessed Burna Boy making history with his performance at the opening ceremony of the tournament in Mexico, Rema’s song, Calm Down, have also thrilled fans at another world cup match between South Korea and Czechia on Friday.
The music which was played in the middle of the game stirred the fans who sang along while doing the wave celebration across the stadium.
The scene had since gone viral across social media platforms and earmarked Nigeria’s dominance at the global entertainment industry.
