Arsenal has returned to their stellar run in the 2025/2026 English Premier League season as they cruised past Nottingham Forest with 3-0 victory.
The north London club on Saturday hosted Forest at the Emirates Stadium.
Coming off a narrow 1-0 defeat to defending champions, Liverpool, before the international break, the Mikel Arteta-led side were fired up to retain their stand as title contenders.
Spanish midfielder, Martin Zubimendi, scored the opener for the Gunners as he latched home a poor clearance from Nottingham Forest in the 32nd minute.
Arsenal summer signing, Noni Madueke, orchestrated the goal with a corner kick initially failed to meet any of his teammates.
However, a poor clearance by the visitor’s striker, Chris Wood, saw the ball dropping in front of Zubimendi who volleyed the ball into the back of the net.
Swedish striker, Viktor Gyrokeres doubled the lead for Arsenal barely a minute into the second-half.
Zubimendi would put the icing on the cake with a brace in the 79th minute to seal a 3-0 win for the Gunners.
The win currently sees Arsenal sitting on top of the league table with nine points out of four games.
