Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has paid homage to President Bola Tinubu with a courtesy visit to the Presidential Villa weeks after his re-election victory.
NPO Reported that Soludo had emerged winner of the controversial November 9 Anambra Governorship election with a total of 422,664 votes to defeat Tinubu’s All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the election, Nicholas Ukachukwu, who polled 99,445.
With the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) issuance of certificate of return to Soludo, the Anambra governor formally secured another four years in office.
Meanwhile, in the wake of his election victory, Tinubu had emerged one of the first public figures to congratulate Soludo over his win.

The Anambra governor, in what appeared to be a return of the gesture, visited the President yesterday.
He made this known in a post shared on his X handle on Friday.
Soludo who described Tinubu as his friend and brother for over 22 years disclosed that he was received at the State House with the President’s usual warmth, big smile, and open arms.
