The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has announced changes to its timetable for activities leading to the nomination of candidates ahead of upcoming elections.
In a public notice signed by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Ini Ememobong, and the National Organising Secretary, Hon. Theophilus Dakas Shan, the adjustment followed appeals from stakeholders and aspirants across the country.
According to the revised schedule, the deadline for the purchase of nomination forms has been extended to May 15, 2026, while the last date for the submission of completed forms is now May 18, 2026.
The party also fixed May 19, 2026, for the screening of aspirants.
The PDP stated that aspirants seeking tickets for the National and State Assemblies would be screened in their respective states.
Meanwhile, governorship and presidential aspirants will undergo screening in Abuja.
The party added that all other activities in the timetable would remain unchanged as previously announced.
