Nigerian afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has talked down alleged plot to rig the Osun State Governorship Election as he expressed confidence in the re-emergence of his uncle and incumbent governor, Ademola Adeleke, as the winner of the election.
Davido, in a video posted on his X handle on Friday, held that there will be no ballot snatching at the Saturday election as he disclosed that he will also be at the polling unit.
Reference one of President Bola Tinubu’s ‘snatch it and run away with it’ statement he made during his campaign for the 2023 Presidential election, Davido held that nothing will be snatched at the election.
‘Tomorrow, we head to the poll. Them dey talk say from up, dem they send them signal say snatch it.
‘Baba dem no dey snatch anything for Osun. We will see you tomorrow.’ Davido said.
