Nigerian afrobeats singer, Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has vowed to safe legendary singer, Innocent Idibia (2Baba) from his marital crisis with his wife, Natasha Osawaru.
This is coming amid the ongoing controversies surrounding 2Baba’s relationship with the Edo lawmaker who was accused of assaulting and sabotaging the music career of the African Queen crooner.
NPO Reported that the couple had come under the spotlight following a circulated video capturing moment Natasha was shouting at 2Baba at a mall in London.
This had generated several speculations from netizens with questions surrounding the couple’s marriage which is barely a year old.
Amid the controversies was a distress call on 2Baba Instagram handle.
The now deleted post which the singer had since denied initiating had simply read “Help me”.
This however appeared to have proven claims of 2Baba’s possible experience of domestic violence and assault by Natasha as alleged.
Reacting to the development in a post on her Instagram handle on Wednesday, Teni vowed to initiate rescue mission for 2Baba in collaboration with other singers like Timaya and KCEE.
The singer however appeared to have made light of the situation as she said they are coming to save 2Baba from his husband’s house- a reference to a claim by a former manager of 2Baba who disclosed how Natasha has been controlling him with the legendary singer also allegedly decrying being turned to a house husband.
“Una know say I never happen why Baddest borrow me Lamborghini. Right now no be even about me again.
