The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the start of a nationwide digital membership registration exercise.
The announcement was made in a statement signed on February 28, 2026, by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Ini Ememobong.
The registration which will begin on Monday, March 2, 2026, and will last for three weeks will take place across all 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The party said the exercise is aimed at creating an updated digital membership register.
This is in line with the Electoral Act 2026, which requires political parties to submit a digital register of members to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
According to the PDP, registration will hold every day except Sundays. Members can register at ward, chapter and state party offices nationwide. The party added that special cases will be handled at the PDP National Secretariat.
To oversee the process, the PDP has set up a committee headed by the National Organising Secretary, Theophilus Daka Shan.
The PDP urged its members and the general public to visit the nearest PDP office in their ward to register.
