Human Rights activist, Harrison Gwaminshu, has called out the Delta State Police Command over the missing body of late Oghenemine Ogidi who was murdered by a now dismissed officer of the command, ASP Nuhu Usman.
NPO Reported the emergence disturbing video of Ogidi’s murder which surfaced on social media on Tuesday.
The video showed how the 28-year-old man, whose hands and legs were tied, was publicly shot at close range by Usman following his arrest over alleged possession of firearm.
The incident had sparked public outrage and had since led to the dismissal of Usman and three other officers present at the scene of the incident.
While the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, had ordered the prosecution of the killer cop, the body of the deceased suspect is however yet to nbe found six days after his murder.
Gwaminshu made this known in a post shared on his X handle on Friday.
The activist disclosed that grieving family of the deceased are yet to see the body of their son whose elder brother, Oghenerume Ogidi, was also killed by police officers in 2022.

“Two brothers from same parents were Extrajudicially k!lled by Delta State Police.
“The level of Impunity currently in Delta State is unacceptable.
“Nobody knows where ASP USMAN NUHU kept Oghenemine dead body.
“Was he dumped in the River or in Shallow Grave.
“Six days and counting, Oghenemine’s family are yet to see the dead body of Mena.” Gwaminshu wrote.
