A 30-year-old politician with dwarfism condition, Muhammad Sadis Buba, has sent tongues waggling after passing the All Progressives Congress (APC) screening for the House of Representatives ticket.
Sadis stunned the APC officials with his appearance at the screening centre in Abuja on Saturday as he presented his file for the exercise.
As captured in a video shared on X, the Kaduna-based politician who is suffering from stunted growth affirmed being 30-years-old while being asked of his age by bewildered officials at the screening.
He disclosed being the first of nine siblings.
Sadis who was born in Zaria in 1995 reportedly served as the chairman of the Tinubu-Uba Sani Agenda ’27 support group.
When asked about the reason behind his aspiration, the politician maintained that he was encouraged by his constituents to contest.
“I want you to help me to pass the screening so I can go directly to primaries because people called me to serve. I didn’t just call myself. It is people that called me to serve.
“It is from me; it is from the people.” He said.
The brief session which saw him successfully screened had sparked mixed reactions from netizens with expressions of disbelief and admiration.
Some however expressed their displeasure with the acceptance of his educational qualifications as he only presented his Secondary School Leaving Certificate for the screening.
