The Oyo state government has demolished the house where the sister of former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, and her two sons were held hostage.
This was seen in a viral video posted on X on Monday.
This is coming two days after the victims were rescued by police officials in an operation that saw the fatal shooting of two of the kidnappers.

NPO Reported that the command had, in collaboration with the Force Intelligence Department–Intelligence Response Team (FID-IRT), secured the release of Mrs. Adegoke Olaide John-Paul and her twin sons, identified as Peter and Paul, on Saturday.
Recounting how the kidnapping syndicate was tracked, the Oyo Police spokesperson, Ayanlade Olayinka, in a press briefing on Sunday, said the arrest of two principal suspects led to the discovery of the hideout and the arrest of others.
The suspects identified as Wale Abolalewa, popularly known as “Oloro,” and Dare Oyedele, popularly known as “Solution,” were alleged to have been on the trail of Adegoke and her children since May 2026.
