Mixed reactions have trailed the video of the African Democratic Congress Governorship Candidate for Oyo State, Taofeek Adegoke, who was spotted buying corn by the roadside.
Adegoke, as captured in a now viral video posted on X on Tuesday, stepped out of his vehicle to patronise a roadside corn seller.
The governorship candidate initial bought for himself, tasting the boiled the corn before requesting for more which was shared among those who surrounded him.
Adegoke’s gesture had since sparked mixed reactions with many considering the gesture as the usual gimmick politicians play towards election period.
Some slammed the ADC candidate over what they considered unhygienic as he was seen dipping his hand in the stemming pot of boiled corn.
