Within a spate o three months, a third Accountant General of the Federation has been named.
He is Sylva Okolieaboh.
He takes over from Chukwuyere Anamekwe who was appointed in acting capacity after the arrest of the substantive Accountant General Ahmed Idris.
Anamekwe was removed over allegations bordering on corruption which is said to be under investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Idris was arrested over allegations of laundering public funds to the tune of N80bn.
The newly appointed Accountant General who is also in acting capacity, was drawn from the Single Treasury Account Department of the office of the Accountant General.
