Tension as Hoodlums, Military Men Engage in Shootout Near Second Niger Bridge

There have been reports of gunshots near the new Second Niger Bridge, Onitsha, Anmabra State in the morning of Sunday.
The shootings were said to still be on as at 11:30am while sending those in the vicinity to scamper for safety.
It was gathered that trouble started when some hoodlums who also had guns with them massed at the Obosi end of the bridge and started creating pandemonium.
Some vans carrying some military men had reportedly arrived at the scene to disperse the hoodlums who however shot back to the military men.
The police in Anambra State was yet to come out with any specific statement as at the time of this report.
