Many Feared Dead, Police Car Burnt as Explosion Rocks Lagos Building

There are fears that some people may have been trapped in a building at the Adeola Odeku area of Lagos State on Tuesday as a generator exploded setting the house on fire.

It was gathered that a vehicle belonging to the Rapid Response of the Police in Lagos was caught because it was parked in the premises when the fire started.

The Lagos State Police command, while confirming the incident said its men were injured in the fire and confirmed that lives were lost. The command stated, “RRS vehicle on patrol of Adeola Odeku was this morning involved in a fire incident.

Although lives were lost in the incident but our officers escaped with injuries.
