A short clip which has surfaced on social media has shown the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, boasting of the All Progressives Congress having enough funds to win the forthcoming 2023 elections.
He made the assertion at a fund raising for the APC governorship candidate in Katsina, Umar Dikko Radda.
The minister was seen saying in the clip, “Whether he proceeds to Dusi to defeat Hadi Sirika, or Kahun to defeat Aminu Bello Masari.
“It is impossible! And I swear we shall see if it is achievable. Of course the general election is approaching.”
Sirika further stressed on the fact that the party has money and will involve it alongside other resources.
“Therefore we shall involve money and other resources, and we have it all. Money? I swear we have it all. We have money to get the job done.” The minister has come under criticisms in Nigeria over the inability of his ministry to supervise to a logical conclusion, the take off of national carrier. The federal government, through the Minister of State for Sirika had in 2018, revealed the branding and livery for a new national flag carrier, Nigeria Air, due to be launched in December of the year.

Sirika had performed the unveiling at a press conference at the Farnborough Air Show in London, United Kingdom. Two years later, the project has remained standstill.
