The Chief of Army Staff, General Taoreed Lagbaja on Wednesday said putting men and women of armed forces in harm’s way is his toughest job.
Lagbaja stated this while speaking at the final burial of the 17 soldiers who were killed in Okuama, Delta state two weeks ago.
The Army Chief said that even with the best of equipment, the Army knows that sending its troops out entails great dangers and sometimes loss of lives of the troops. The event was attended by Governors of Kogi, Kwara, Bayelsa, Kano, Kaduna and others. Details later…
