The jury has found former US President Donald Trump GUILTY of falsifying business records to conceal a hush-money payment made to former porn star Stormy Daniels.
He becomes the first former president to be convicted of a crime.
This is for the first count of the 34 charges in total. There are more verdicts to come.

He was said to have falsified records ahead of the 2016 election.
He is to be sentenced in July.
Trump has described the decision of the Manhattan court a “disgrace.”
The court’s decision comes six months before the election he was to stand with incumbent Joe Biden.
BBC reports that Biden’s camp in its first reaction, said no one is above the law.
‘No one is above the law’
The Biden campaign responded to Trump’s guilty verdict on Thursday, writing in a statement: “In New York today, we saw that no one is above the law”.
“Donald Trump has always mistakenly believed he would never face consequences for breaking the law for his own personal gain,” Biden-Harris campaign Communications Director Michael Tyler was quoted by the BBC to have stated shortly after tye juror found Trump guilty.
He then went on to encourage people to vote: “Today’s verdict does not change the fact that the American people face a simple reality. There is still only one way to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office: at the ballot box. Convicted felon or not, Trump will be the Republican nominee for president.”
Even as many analysts believe that the verdict has dented his campaign badly, he said the matter is far from being over.
