The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has confirmed that a building collapsed in the Igando area of Lagos state on Thursday.
According to NEMA, the building that collapsed was still under construction when it came down.
The agency said the incident had happened at No 28 Olusesan Ishola Avenue, Oko filling bus stop, off LASU/Igando road.
“The one storey building which was still under construction, collapsed at 4pm and partly fell on the fence of the house behind it. No one was trapped under the rubbles, though a man sustained injuries and was taken to Igando General Hospital,” NEMA said Friday morning
