Says It’s Opportunity to End Falsehood Against Him

Peoples Democratic Party’ Board of Trustees has, yesterday, paid solidarity visit to Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
This was disclosed in a post on Fubara’s X handle where he stressed to have hosted the party’s BoT at the Port Harcourt Government House.
This is coming amid controversies surrounding Fubara’s possible defection from the PDP.
Fubara, however, assured the BoTs, led by Adolphus Wabara, of his loyalty to PDP while labelling his defection claims as falsehoods.
“Today, I hosted the PDP BoT, led by Senator Adolphus Wabara, at the Government House in Port Harcourt.
“Contrary to rumors being peddled by our detractors, I reaffirmed that my supporters and I are the genuine, undiluted members of the PDP in Rivers State.” He wrote on X handle.
While appreciating the BoTs for their solidarity visit, Fubara reassured them of his commitment to the party.
“I appreciate the BoT’s visit, which has put to rest the falsehoods and propaganda.
“We remain steadfast and committed to standing by the party.” He added.
NPO Reports that there is a lingering political tension between Fubara and former Governor Nyesom Wike.
