Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is heading to China in the last days of August on a working visit.
Though, no specific details have been released about the Nigeria’s president’s official visit, NPO Reports was informed by a reliable source that Tinubu is expected to leave arrive in Beijing on Saturday August 31, 2024.
His visit, according to the source, is expected to last four days during which there will be some bilateral agreements between Nigeria and Chinese companies.
The visit comes amidst controversies over a contractual agreement between Ogun state and a Chinese company leading to the attachment of Nigerian three presidential jets in France.
Zhongshan, the Chinese firm had secured a court order to confiscate three Nigerian presidential jets over alleged breach of contracts for a Free Trade Zone project in Ogun state.
