A fuel tanker has erupted in flames after falling along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The accident occurred on Tuesday with the fire outbreak appeared to have been caused by impact of the fall which saw the tanker detached from its carrier.
Also involved in the accident was another truck which, as seen in a video made available to NPO Reports, fell across the road with fire still seen burning the truck.
The accident had drawn the attention of emergency responders as officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) arrived at the scene with towing vehicles.
The cause of the accident as well as number of casualties however remain unclear as at the time of filing this report.
