Some protesters insisting that election cannot hold into the local government areas of Rivers state have gone to the streets of the state capital Port Harcourt.
This was just as voters have come out in their large numbers forming long lines at polling centers.
Some of the protesters apparently loyalist of former Governor Nyesom Wike carried with them many placards with various inscriptions condemning the conduct of the election.
Some of the inscriptions also asked that Governor Sim Fubara must obey a court order that stopped the conduct of the election.
