Says Power Supply Was Disconnected

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of plot to sabotage its National Convention over alleged disconnection of power supply at the convention’s venue.
ADC Vanguard, the coalition mobilisation wing of the opposition party, made the allegation in a post shared on its official X handle on Tuesday amid ongoing preparation for the convention at the Rainbow Event Centre in Abuja.
The group alleged that the venue of the event has been disconnected from the national grid in a bid to sabotage the convention.
However, the organisers of the event had, according to the ADC Vanguard switched to generators which currently powers the event centre as preparation goes underway.
“Tinubu’s APC is relentless in its efforts to sabotage our national convention. They got NEPA to disconnect the venue from the national grid, leaving all the air conditioners down.
“Unknown to them, our leaders are smart and several steps ahead.
“They had already prepared a Plan B. Generators are now powering the event centre, and we are waiting to see what sabotage comes next.” The group wrote.
