The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has affirmed that Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has recorded an increase of 3.46% in the third quarter of 2024. This was contained in its latest report which was published on Monday. According to the report, the growth rate for Q3 of 3.46% is higher than the growth rate of the third quarter of 2023 which recorded 2.54% and the second quarter of 2024 which recorded 3.19%. Operatives of the Lagos State Taskforce have impounded 128 commercial motorcycles popularly known as “Okada”, for operating illegally in some parts of the state. The Chairman of the taskforce, CSP Adetayo Akerele, disclosed this in a statement, signed by the Director, Press and Public Affairs, Mr Gbadeyan Abdulraheem, on Sunday in Lagos.
