A gunman fired shots at the U.S. Embassy in Lebanon on Wednesday and was injured in an exchange of fire with the army. NPO Reports that there were no casualties as the driver of the tanker managed to escape from the scene before the explosion. The tanker was said to have fallen when navigating a roundabout in the area. Emergency officials had reportedly gathered round the tanker to prevent further spread of the fire that ensued.
