Big Brother, fondly known as Biggie, has lifted Nomy’s Benchwarmer title after three consecutive weeks under the punishment.
Biggie informed Nomy of the development during her diary session on Wednesday, officially bringing an end to the restrictions and duties attached to the title.
“You will be relieved of your costume and favourite bench for the week. Consider this a gesture of goodwill,” he said.
NPO Reported that Nomy was named the Benchwarmer after recording the poorest performance in the Week 2 Head of House challenge, with Biggie assigning her a special vest and designated bench as part of the punishment.
The role also required her to clean the toilets and bathrooms, while restricting her from certain privileges, including participation in the Head of House challenge and some house activities.
However, Nomy’s continued defiance of Biggie’s instructions led to the punishment being extended into subsequent weeks.
NPO Reported that she was also issued the first strike of the season on August 9 for repeatedly defying Biggie and his rules.
With Wednesday’s announcement, Nomy has now been relieved of the Benchwarmer title, ending a punishment that lasted for roughly three weeks.
However, Biggie mentioned that there is a final matter to be attended to but postponed the details of the matter to another session.
“There is, however, one more final matter to take care of. More on that later,” he said.
