Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11 housemates, Aioku and Flora, have been instructed to fake romantic feelings for each other as part of their tasks as the season’s Gambits.
NPO reported that Flora and Aioku were selected as the season’s Gambits in Week Two, earning them spots in the finale but making them ineligible for the N160 million grand prize.
Big brother gave the instruction during their diary sessions on Wednesday, emphasizing on the fact that it has to be believable by both parties.
Aikou was instructed to find the right moments to get closer to Flora, show clear interest and build a connection strong enough to make her believe he was developing genuine romantic feelings for her.
Biggie, however, warned Aikou not to reveal that the romantic approach was part of a Gambit mission under any circumstances.
Aikou expressed concerns about the task, telling Biggie, “I have a few things that I’m concerned about,” but he pressed him to proceed with the mission.
In a twist, Flora was given a similar mission, with Biggie instructing her to make Aikou believe that her feelings for him were real.
Flora was told to get closer to Aikou, show interest and convince him that she was genuinely developing romantic feelings for him, while keeping the mission secret until the end of the week.
Flora initially expressed reservations about the task, saying Aikou was “somehow the wrong person” and worrying that he might reveal the mission to the other housemates.
She eventually agreed to take on the challenge, with Biggie encouraging her by describing her as “a beautiful wolf.”
The task has created a unique situation in the house as both Gambits are secretly attempting to convince each other that their romantic interest is genuine, without knowing that they have been assigned mirror missions.
The development is expected to create more drama in the house, particularly if either Aikou or Flora begins to develop genuine feelings or if their secret missions are exposed to the other housemates.
