Big Brother Naija (BBN) season 11 housemate, Gerard has been evicted from the show.
The eviction was announced by the show’s host, Ebuka Obi, during the live eviction show on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Barry emerged as the week’s most influential housemate. However, the title did not earn him immunity, leaving him vulnerable to eviction next week.
Gerard becomes the eighth housemate to exit the big brother house since the show commenced.
His time in the house was marked by strong performances in Head of House (HOH) challenges, where he repeatedly came close to winning the title but fell short.
Notably, he reached the final stage of the Week 6 HOH challenge before Abi emerged victorious to claim her second HOH title of the season.
Gerard was also involved in an early romantic triangle with Kamsy and Chimsom Chuka. Kamsy had grown closer to Gerard, citing their meaningful conversations, but tensions emerged after Gerard confronted her over her interactions with other male housemates.
Following a Truth or Dare moment involving Kamsy and Chimsom, Gerard eventually decided to distance himself from the relationship, despite admitting that he liked her.
NPO reported that Martins, Mercedes, were evicted in week 2, Kamsy was evicted week 3 while Cassi was evicted in week 4.
Neche also took a voluntary exit from the house the night of Kamsy’s eviction.
During last week’s eviction, Goddessa and Sultex were evicted from the race.
That brings the total exits to 8, leaving 16 housemates contesting for the N160million cash prize.
