Big Brother Naija (BBN) housemate Martins has been evicted from the competition, while fellow housemate Nomy has received her first strike.
Martins is the first housemate to be evicted since the show kicked off this month.
The eviction, which was announced by the host, Ebuka, was captured during the show’s live eviction show on Sunday.
During the live show, a video showing how Nomy repeatedly violated Big Brother’s orders was played before Biggie issued her a strike.
NPO Reported that Nomy was previously named the week’s “Benchwarmer” after recording the worst performance in the HoH challenge.
As part of the punishment, she was required to wear a designated vest, carry a bench around the house and sit on it wherever she went, except in the bathroom.
However, she reportedly failed to follow the instructions properly, prompting Biggie to impose an additional punishment of cleaning the house’s toilets and bathrooms for the rest of the week.
After the eviction was announced, Martins bowed before the housemates before they all rushed to give him a hug.
