Nigerian businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has lost his bid to contest at the 2027 General Elections following defeat at the All Progressives Congress (APC) Primary Elections.
Cubana Chief Priest who declared interest in the House of Representatives seat for the Orlu, Orsu, and Oru constituency, lost at the primaries to incumbent Imo lawmaker, Canice Nwachukwu Omeogo.
NPO Reported that the Imo-born businessman had last month dropped his governorship ambition to contest for the House of Representatives primary election.
Having passed the screening exercise, Cubana Chief Priest was on Saturday pitched against Omeogo who is also seeking re-election to the green chamber.
