Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has again shared an emotional moment with Colombian music star, Shakira, as he lifted the singer in celebration of their collaboration at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In a viral video posted on X on Saturday, the co-stars were seen embracing each other as they celebrated their collaboration for their upcoming performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup closing ceremony.
The video recorded during their rehearsals for the half-time show performance of the World Cup official anthem, Dai Dai, showed both artistes visibly excited to be paired up again after their specular performance at the opening match of the tournament.
NPO reported that Burna Boy shared the grand stage with Shakira at the FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony, where they thrilled the fans with their performance.
The performance saw Burna Boy become only the second Nigerian artist to perform at a FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony, after Femi Kuti, son of the late Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti.
After the performance, music artiste was captured in an emotional moment with Shakira who embraced him backstage.
