Embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has been found guilty of inciting violent attacks which led to the murder of 175 security personnel during the 2020 #EndSARS protest.
Kanu was declared guilty of the offence contained in the count four and five of the terrorism charge against him.
The judgement was delivered in the IPOB leader’s ongoing trial at the Federal High Court Abuja on Wednesday.
While presenting his verdict before the court, the presiding judge, Justice James Omotosho, recounted how Kanu had incited the violent attacks targeted at Federal Government owned properties and security personnel especially in Lagos.
