Nigerian political activist, Isaac Fayose, has blasted the Obidients Movement, the support group of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) over the backlash against his meeting with President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, and members of his City Boys Movement.
Fayose had earlier this week come under fire from Obi’s supporter after video of him praying for Tinubu alongside Seyi and members of the City Boy Movement
The activist who had over the years declared his support of Obi’s candidacy was heavily backlashed by members of the Obidient Movement who accused him of betrayal.
While had yesterday released a video to reaffirm his support for Obi, Fayose would leash his fury on the movement in a new video shared on X on Friday.
The brother of former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, slammed the critics as he recounted his contributions to Obi’s camapign in 2023.
“He no go better for una. Last election you know how much I spent on una Obi? Na everywhere we dey sing. Even my hotel for Ibadan, I dash una. I did everything. But una sell una votes.
“Where you dey when I dey protest here? So I con meet Seyi una wan die. Make una die.” He said in pidgin.
Fayose thereafter accused Obi of never appreciating his efforts as he declared his love for the Tinubu family.
“Seyi na good boy. I met the guy and he removed his cap and lie down. He appreciated me. Has Obi come to greet me since I don dey campaign with all my Obi Nwane.
“Has Obi come to say thank you? Una go complain tire. If I like sef, I go start to dey campaign for Tinubu because you guys are not even worth it. You are there quiet. You dey wait for my own video to liberate you where you can liberate yourself.
“I’m a Yoruba man and I love Tinubu with all my heart and I love Seyi Tinubu. He is a good guy. Has Obi’s son con visit me because I dey support Obi? I can withdraw my support. Nobody dey feed me.” He said.
