Nearly 4000 residents have been evacuated from a 67-storey skyscraper which was gutted by fire in Dubai.
The skyscraper identified as the Marina Pinnacle building containing 764 apartments in the Dubai Marina was engulfed in fire on Friday evening.
In swift response, the emergency crews from Dubai Civil Defence reportedly battled the inferno for six hours before finally bringing it under control in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Despite the 3,820 inferno which saw the skyscraper covered with thick black smoke with debris falling off off the building, all 3,820 residents from the building were miraculously evacuated with no injuries reported.
In a statement issued on its social media handles, the Dubai Media Office confirmed ambulance and medical teams were on-site throughout the night, providing both physical and psychological support to evacuees.
The Media Office also shared several photos from the harrowing scene, one of which showed flames emanating from several floors.
