The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has allegedly denied the African Democratic Congress (ADC) National Secretary, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, and other leaders of the party access to the embattled former Kaduna state governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
As disclosed in a post shared on X by the ADC Vanguard, Aregbesola, on Friday, led a delegate of the ADC leaders which included the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, and Mallam Salihu Lukman, the Secretary of the party’s Manifesto and Policy Committee, to the ICPC headquarters in Abuja.
They were however denied entry with pictures attached to the post showing Aregbesola and Abdullahi standing outside the gate of the ICPC office where El-Rufai is detained shortly after being granted bail by the court last week.
