The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has formally declared that he is not running for the presidency despite the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) zoning of its candidacy to the south.
Wike made this known while speaking during his monthly media parley on Monday.
The former Rivers State Governor maintained that he is a man of integrity and will not contest against President Bola Tinubu
“I will not run. Let me tell you, I have integrity and character. There is no way my appointor is there, and you are saying I should run.
“Then I will turn around and said I want to run. You are talking like people who don’t have integrity. What do you think my children ask me?” Wike said.
